Seth Malcolm Acquired as Third Round Draft Pick

Vancouver , B.C. – General Manager Kari Buchanan and Coach Andrew Malcolm announced today that centerman, Seth Malcolm, has been acquired by the Malcolm Family Organization in an 18 year contract. In keeping with club policy, financial terms of the deal were not disclosed but are expected to be well above league average. Seth has spent the last nine months in the team’s minor league program.

“Seth arrived and negotiations were completed at 10:20 a.m. this morning at BC Women’s Hospital,” said Andrew Malcolm. “Both parties wanted to get a deal done quickly. Mother and new arrival are doing well.” Seth will soon join older brothers Chase and Grant Malcolm, 16 months, to make a powerhouse forward line.

The 21 inch, 9 lb. 9 oz. Vancouver native is expected in North Vancouver for spring training on Monday April 24, 2005.
