Rice Pilaf
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cup long grain rice
- 3 tbsp. Butter or olive oil
- sea salt
- fresh cracked pepper
- 1 small onion, sliced finely
- 3 cups chicken stock
- 2 bay leaves
Directions:
- In a skillet, add oil or butter, heat, add onions, season and saute for 2 minutes.
- Rinse rice and drain. Add rice and saute for 1 minute, season.
- Add bay leaves and top off with chicken stock, stir.
- Cover and cook on medium to low heat for 25- 30 minutes
