Rice Pilaf

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup long grain rice
  • 3 tbsp. Butter or olive oil
  • sea salt
  • fresh cracked pepper
  • 1 small onion, sliced finely
  • 3 cups chicken stock
  • 2 bay leaves

Directions:

  1. In a skillet, add oil or butter, heat, add onions, season and saute for 2 minutes.
  2. Rinse rice and drain. Add rice and saute for 1 minute, season.
  3. Add bay leaves and top off with chicken stock, stir.
  4. Cover and cook on medium to low heat for 25- 30 minutes
