Tiramisu
Ingredients:
- 2/ 500 g mascarpone
- 12 egg yolks
- 6 tbsp sugar
- 12 egg whites
- 6 tbsp sugar
- 3 cups strong coffee
- 3 tbsp amaretto liqueur
- 1 package lady fingers
Directions:
- Place mascarpone in a large bowl and whisk until smooth
- Whip the egg yolks with 6 tbsp sugar in a kitchen aid to ribbon stage
- Whip the egg whites with 6 tbsp sugar to medium stiff peak in a kitchen aid
- Fold yolks into mascarpone
- Fold egg whites into mascarpone
- Combine coffee and amaretto together. Dip lady fingers into combine liquid and line bowl with lady fingers.
- Top with a cup of mousse
- Put another layer of dipped lady fingers and top with a cup of mousse
- Garnish the top with lady fingers, cut into quarters in a checker board pattern dust with cocoa powder.Makes 6 bowls
