Tiramisu

Ingredients:

  • 2/ 500 g mascarpone
  • 12 egg yolks
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 12 egg whites
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 3 cups strong coffee
  • 3 tbsp amaretto liqueur
  • 1 package lady fingers

Directions:

  1. Place mascarpone in a large bowl and whisk until smooth
  2. Whip the egg yolks with 6 tbsp sugar in a kitchen aid to ribbon stage
  3. Whip the egg whites with 6 tbsp sugar to medium stiff peak in a kitchen aid
  4. Fold yolks into mascarpone
  5. Fold egg whites into mascarpone
  6. Combine coffee and amaretto together. Dip lady fingers into combine liquid and line bowl with lady fingers.
  7. Top with a cup of mousse
  8. Put another layer of dipped lady fingers and top with a cup of mousse
  9. Garnish the top with lady fingers, cut into quarters in a checker board pattern dust with cocoa powder.Makes 6 bowls
