Grilled Fruit Kebobs with Honey Cardamon Syrup
Ingredients:
- 1/4 pineapple, cubed
- 1 peach, sliced
- 1 banana
- 16 strawberries
- Yoghurt
- Honey Cardamon syrup
- 2 tblsp. Honey
- 20 gr.unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamon
- 2 tblsp. Rum or brandy
- 1 tblsp. Soft brown sugar
Directions:
- Soak 8 wooden skewers in cold water for 20 minutes
- Thread the fruit onto skewer, and place in a shallow pan.
- Prepare the syrup; combine all the ingredients in a bowl
- Pour the mixture over top of the kebabs and let sit for 1 hour
- Cook the kebobs on a hot, lightly heated bbq. flat plate or under the griller for 5 minutes
- Serve the remaining syrup over top and add a dollop of yoghurt or cream
