Prawns Hara (Green Prawns)

Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 tbsp. Ginger, chopped
  • 1 tsp. Jeera ( cumin)
  • 3 tbsp. Green chillies, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. Haldi ( tumeric powder)
  • 16 large prawns (peeled, de-veined)
  • 2 tbsp. Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 spinach chopped
  • 3 tbsp. Fresh mint, chopped
  • sea salt
  • fresh cracked pepper
  • 1 tsp. Garam masala

Directions:

  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet, add the onions, season, and sear for 2 minutes.
  2. Add garlic, ginger, cumin, green chillies, and tumeric powder, cook for 1 minute
  3. Add the prawns, season, and cook for approx. 4-5 minutes
  4. Add the spinach, cilantro, and mint, season, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes
  5. Before serving add garam masala
